Probus Publicity in November

A mixed bag this month with older publications featuring the Charles Darwin story while the newer magazines covered the presentation by our own David Stiles about the crashed de Havilland Chipmunk and the use of a garden washing line prop to raise the tail sufficiently the release the canopy cover and  rescue the pilot.

This month the Villager magazine failed to include our report, due, I suspect, to the fact the editor chose instead to include the Ladies’ Probus report about their AGM and upcoming programme. A competitive situation mentioned by the editor of the Basinga magazine.
